At about 3:30 a.m. today, Friday the 13th, Chuck Schumer sought to have SR1-HR1 passed by unanimous consent.  Standing in the breach was Ted Cruz, who objected and foiled the dead-of-night attempt to destroy the Republic.  God blessed Texas, and all of us, with Ted Cruz.
